Design, materials and construction will not change.* Roomy has to be the buzz word for this boat. That's all we kept saying as we toured the new 2740 from Glacier Bay. Sure it's good for fishing, but if there was ever a crossover to the family side of boating, this is it. Aside from the spacious layout, there's room for everything, including the kitchen sink, and for that matter, the fridge too. Today, let's step aboard and see just how much room a builder can put into a 26' 6" (8.1 m) boat and what sort of amenities do we get to bring with us. --- ## Related Boats [ Review with Captain's Report ![](/sites/default/files/styles/500x375_max/public/GlacierBay2780IsleRunner2015.jpg?itok=R83wsCrz) ](/boats/glacier-bay/2780-isle-runner-2015) [Catamarans](/boats/catamarans) ### [Glacier Bay 2780 Isle Runner (2015-)](/boats/glacier-bay/2780-isle-runner-2015) Currently no test numbers [ Report with Video Review with Captain's Report ![World Cat Renegade 2740 Running](/sites/default/files/styles/500x375_max/public/images/2019-08/world_cat_renegade_2740.jpg?itok=p3_TKcmK) ](/boats/glacier-bay/renegade-2740-2010) [Catamarans](/boats/catamarans) ### [Glacier Bay Renegade 2740 (2010-)](/boats/glacier-bay/renegade-2740-2010) 2 x 150-hp Yamaha [ Review with Captain's Report ![](/sites/default/files/styles/500x375_max/public/GlacierBay2240RenegadeSX.jpg?itok=4HYP1_le) ](/boats/glacier-bay/2240-renegade-sx-2002) [Catamarans](/boats/catamarans) ### [Glacier Bay 2240 Renegade SX (2002-)](/boats/glacier-bay/2240-renegade-sx-2002) 2 x 115-hp Suzuki 4-stroke outboards [ Report with Video Review with Captain's Report ![World Cat 2640 Renegade Running](/sites/default/files/styles/500x375_max/public/images/2019-08/worldcat_2640renegade.jpg?itok=Zf-_NWs3) ](/boats/glacier-bay/2640-renegade-2006) [Catamarans](/boats/catamarans) ### [Glacier Bay 2640 Renegade (2006-)](/boats/glacier-bay/2640-renegade-2006) 2 x 150-hp Honda 4-stroke (outboards) Glacier Bay Catamarans, Dual Consoles,
