Cheoy Lee Yachts Serenity 59 (2010-)

Brief Summary

The latest in Cheoy Lee’s full displacement Serenity Series, the Serenity 59, looks to be a rugged, seaworthy yacht with a canoe stern and three staterooms. We think that it is bound to be a popular boat because it is available in single-engine, twin-engine, or a single with a wing engine configuration. Take your pick! Its fuel and water tanks are fiberglass and in the bottom of the boat, so it has a double bottom, which is quite unusual. She is being built to Germanischer Lloyd approved construction standards, and the company says that she has commercial- grade engineering. There are lots of things we like about this boat, and a few things we’d change.
