Regulator’s new 28 FS (stands for “forward seating”) hangs its twin Yamahas on a bracket rather than an integrated transom/platform. The designer says a bracket works better with a deep-V hull.
Regulator Marine has done something strange, or at least it seems that way: With a popular 29-footer already in its line of high-end fishing boats, the company has introduced a new 28, officially the 28 FS. We thought that meant the end of the 29, but not so: A company spokesman explained that the two boats are very different, and should appeal to different schools of fisherpeople.
