Catalina 315:

Good Value and American-Built

catalina-315-052520.png

Catalina 315

The Catalina 315 has the same core attributes as the 445 and 355 only in a smaller, more affordable sailboat. An emphasis is placed on good sailing characteristics with a low-profile cabin design and unobstructed visibility from the helm, even with the dodger because of its isinglass. Belowdecks, she has the warmth and ambience that a teak interior creates. Catalina has always prided itself on providing good value. See how they’ve done. More...

How to Reduce the Pain of Depreciation

axopar-28.png

Axopar 28 T-Top for lease.

New boats depreciate very rapidly, even faster than automobiles. Depreciation, in fact, is the costliest aspect of boat ownership. Over the course of 5 years, new boat depreciation is typically on the order of 50% for most boats.

But now there is a way to mitigate your boat’s depreciation, and that is by leasing your boat to other like-minded people on those days it’s not in use. BoattestLEASING will market, manage and maintain your boat in a turnkey package that lets you use your boat, and earn income, too. For more information, contact general manager Greg Sweeney at (727) 200-3474 | [email protected] or visit our website.

Tracker Pro Guide V-16 WT:

Affordable, Versatile Aluminum Boat

tracker-targa16-052520.png

Tracker Pro Guide V-16 WT

The Tracker Pro Guide V-16 WT is built with two pieces of .100 marine-grade 5052 aluminum alloy that are welded on the boat’s centerline. The bottom is reinforced by a longitudinal stringer system that’s welded in place from the bow to the extruded box-beam transom. This system makes the boat both strong and light. We think she is an excellent entry-level boat, or just a low-cost “utility” boat, that can be used for nearly anything on lakes and rivers. More...

Thanks to her 21’6” (6.56 m) beam, she feels like a much larger yacht. She features three separate cabins with en suite heads, a foldaway bar off the galley and an oversized bridgedeck. More...

Tough First Quarter Leads

to Evinrude's Departure

brp-ceo.png

BRP CEO José Boisjoli said Evinrude’s outboard lineup has been steadily losing marketshare.

On the heels of the announcement on Wednesday that it would stop producing Evinrude outboard engines, BRP Inc released its 2021 first quarter results yesterday morning. A decline of nearly 26% in revenue and a drop of more than 40% in outboard sales led BRP to discontinue production of Evinrude outboards and pursue a new marine strategy including a supplier agreement with Mercury Marine for BRP’s boat brands. VirtualBOATSHOW.com

Cuddy Sportboats have traditionally been single-engine runabouts less than 30’ (9.14 m) long with small cabins belowdecks. They’re usually designed on a sportboat bottom so they’re up to the task of towing wake sports or just cruising comfortably on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Their cabins are usually large enough for a couple to overnight, but they’re rarely used for that. VirtualBOATSHOW.com. has more than 20 Cuddy Sportboats on display.
