Prestige 420 Fly:

Prestige's Smallest Motoryacht

Prestige designed the 420 Fly to be a yacht that has the size and contemporary styling to attract buyers looking to move up from a smaller day boat into a flying-bridge model. She could also be a good choice for veteran cruisers looking to down size. Prestige sees the 420 Fly as a good entry-level model to attract people to the brand. More...

Sailfish 276 DC:

A Well Designed Helm

Sailfish’s 276 DC is a dual-console with bluewater intentions. She’s designed with the same variable-degree deadrise V-bottom as Sailfish’s center-consoles and she has the cockpit and bow depth the manufacturer has built a reputation for providing. Her helm has a captain’s chair with a bolster and folding armrests. There’s space for two 10” (25.4 cm) displays plus a Yamaha 7” (17.78 cm) Helm Master screen and the control head for the Fusion stereo on the vertical panel. For added comfort, the angled footrest on the console is finished in SeaDek mat. More...

Regal takes the advantage a step further, literally, with its single-stepped Fastrac bottom design. The step makes no difference for towing at slower speeds, but when she’s up and running, Regal says it enhances speed and efficiency. More...

There are filtration and treatment systems that can be installed to help keep our oceans and waterways clean from boat discharge. More...

Cruising Destinations

Galveston, TX

Southern Sojourn

If you’re cruising along the Simon Bolivar Peninsula, don’t be surprised to see cattle drives with Texas cowboys moving their herds over two-lane highways crossing the ICW. The wide Texas beaches on the coast hide cattle country and oil derricks and slowly give way to raised beach houses with names like “Gulf Breeze” or “Jolie’s Hideaway.” The inevitable one-horse beach shops with their airbrush artisan and seashell wind chimes are also there, but sail past historic Fort Travis and the Bolivar Lighthouse rising on the western tip of the peninsula, and Galveston Island beckons with her historic architecture, beaches and maritime culture.
