Superyacht Partially Sinks in Chesapeake Bay

BOATING NEWS. The 124’ (37.8 m) Lovebug was run aground in Chesapeake Bay near the mouth of the West River to prevent her from sinking into deeper water, according to the crew. The five persons on board were safely recovered by a good Samaritan and a tow boat. The vessel is not currently impeding the navigational channel or polluting the water, per the Coast Guard. The yacht was most recently sold for over $7.9 million and was a regular on the yacht charter circuit per BOAT International.
