The 50 Most Expensive Yachts For Sale Now
How much does a superyacht cost? The answer is not so simple. Much like a luxury watch or car, the asking price depends on a variety of factors such as age, pedigree and finish, with the largest and newest vessels peaking into the hundreds of millions. To give you a better idea, BOAT International rounds up the 50 most expensive yachts currently listed for sale, starting with the 115.1-metre Ahpo...
Ahpo
Asking €340,000,000 with Edmiston and Moran Yacht & Ship
Builder: Lürssen
Length: 115.1m
Designers: Nuvolari Lenard
Taking the crown as the most expensive superyacht for sale is Ahpo. The new build was sold by Moran Yacht & Ship in 2017 to a repeat Lürssen client before it began construction under the codename Project Enzo – a nod to her original owner's love of Ferraris – and was last sold in-house in May 2023 in what is believed to be the biggest brokerage deal in history. Delivered in 2021, the yacht's design from Nuvolari Lenard is as impressive as her features, where trademark half-moon windows meet tapered decks. Highlights include a palatial owner's private duplex, a 100-metre deck around the skylounge for strolls on board and a multitude of health and wellness features – not forgetting the 12-seater cinema and protected winter garden. Accommodation is for 16 guests across eight staterooms.
H3
Asking €295,000,000 with Edmiston
Builder: Oceanco
Length: 105.3m
Designers: Reymond Langton Design, Lateral Naval Architects
What began as a refit project escalated into a three-year rebuild that completely transformed the 95-metre Indian Empress into the 105.3-metre yacht we now know. Twenty-two years after her initial delivery, she was relaunched as H3, with virtually nothing left from her original design except the hull (which had also been extended a further 10 metres). This "rebirth" won her international acclaim and a World Superyacht Award. Her amenities are too numerous to mention, but some standouts include a large pool with a waterfall feature, a huge spa and wellness area with a hairdresser and nail salon, a gymnasium and a climate-controlled winter garden in the owner's suite.
Luna
Asking €270,000,000 with Eastwind Yachts
Builder: Lloyd Werft
Length: 114.2m
Designers: Newcruise, Donald Starkey
Taking the spot as the third most expensive superyacht for sale is the 114.2-metre motor yacht Luna, delivered in 2010 as the world's second-largest expedition yacht. It's her ice-class hull, range of 9,500 nautical miles and volume of 5,655GT that make the German-built motor yacht so impressive in terms of specs. However, her long and low aft deck, multiple fold-down balconies, twin helipads and her mammoth 12-metre by five-metre pool – the biggest ever seen on a superyacht at the time – are what really steal the show. Inside, up to 18 guests are accommodated across nine cabins (cared for by a crew of 51), with a huge list of amenities including a conference room, dance floor, cinema, beauty salon, beach club, gym and Jacuzzi. Luna's re-entry to the market in June 2025 marks the second time the yacht has been for sale since her launch. She was previously sold in 2014 before undergoing a €50,000,000 refit in the same year.
Lady Lara
Asking €230,000,000 with Merle Wood & Associates and Y.CO
Builder: Lürssen
Length: 91m
Designers: Reymond Langton Design
Lady Lara joined the market in September 2023, marking the first time she had been available for sale since her delivery in 2015. She boasts a range of entertainment amenities, including two swimming pools – the largest of which can be transformed into a dancefloor – and a custom surround sound setup. The second pool is found on the sundeck with a swim-up bar, with a large daybed and sunlounger also on this level. Accommodation is for a total of 16 guests across eight cabins and the master suite is positioned on a dedicated owner's deck. It includes a private exterior terrace accessible from the cabin, a library, his-and-hers bathrooms and dressing rooms.
Luna
Asking €218,000,000 with Large Yacht Corporation
Builder: Oceanco
Length: 90m
Designers: Luiz De Basto
A World Superyacht Awards winner, Luna (previously Dar) is inspired by a hammerhead shark and features sinuous lines, wide set wing stations and a mast modelled after a dorsal fin, courtesy of Luiz De Basto. The nautical theme continues indoors, including a school of fish modelled from Venetian plaster that winds its way up the stairs – one of several pieces made by DKT Artworks. An owner's deck complete with a private saloon and Jacuzzi and a wellness area (with Hammam, sauna and massage room) are also well worth mentioning. But Luna is renowned for her extensive use of glass. There are 390 square metres in her superstructure alone, measuring 30 millimetres thick at its heaviest point.
Energy
Asking €199,000,000 with Burgess and Fraser
Builder: Amels
Length: 77.8m
Designers: Espen Øino, François Zuretti
The brief given to Energy's design team was to "defy convention and find ways to connect with the ocean", and the 77.8-metre motor yacht certainly achieves that with distinction. Each of her five decks offers a new experience for her 14 guests – accommodated in seven cabins – to enjoy. The lower deck boasts a sea-level gym with beauty salon, sauna, Hammam and beach club with bar, while the main deck is home to a boardroom-style office, martial arts room and an intimate "waterfall lounge". Elsewhere, the bridge deck is host to a music lounge with a Steinway baby grand piano and marble-topped bar – yet it doesn't stop there. The upper deck – also home to the owner's private saloon – is equipped with "one of the largest pools on any yacht, anywhere", while the top deck's helipad forward doubles as a sun lounge or a yoga studio. Energy was delivered in 2022 and has been used only privately since her launch. She was a nominee at the 2023 World Superyacht Awards for the Motor Yacht of the Year award, narrowly beaten by the 75-metre Kenshō.
DreAMboat
Asking €195,000,000 with Burgess and Edmiston
Builder: Oceanco
Length: 90m
Designers: Espen Øino, Terence Disdale Design
Delivered in 2019, DreaAMBoat was described by Oceanco as the "ultimate milestone" in its ethos of "creating the owner's perfect yacht". And with a 2,950GT interior to play with, it's no surprise that DreAMBoat still impresses more than five years later. Standout features include a six-metre-long swimming pool on the main deck, a sundeck with a Jacuzzi and outdoor cinema, a private owner's deck with a second Jacuzzi, and a spa with a custom-built hydro massage bath. The superyacht can accommodate 23 guests and 33 crew, with a bespoke interior that weaves together mother-of-pearl, natural woods, limestone floors and leather.
Here Comes the Sun
Asking €185,000,000 with Burgess
Builder: Amels
Length: 89m
Designers: Tim Heywood, Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture, Winch Design
Here Comes the Sun was delivered in 2017 as the flagship of the Amels fleet, a title that she has held for the past six years. She was commissioned by a repeat client with a penchant for The Beatles and has an exterior and interior from the boards of design royalty: Tim Heywood and Andrew Winch. Her outdoor spaces are certain to impress, housing a two-metre-deep swimming pool with contraflow jets and a beach club and bar that leads into a wellness centre with its own sauna, massage room and beauty salon. A full rebuild in 2021 won her a Neptune at the World Superyacht Awards.
Gigia
Asking €169,000,000 with Burgess
Builder: Lürssen
Length: 85m
Designers: Winch Design
According to her broker, Gigia "blends the expertise of two iconic names in the superyacht world": constructed by German shipard Lürssen and designed inside and out by British studio Winch Design. Delivered in 2017 to Passenger Yacht Code, Gigia's interior – which exceeds 2,850GT – offers accommodation on board for 20 guests in 10 cabins, decked out in a classical American-inspired theme with neutral fabrics and lavish dark woodwork. Among her many onboard amenities, a highlight is her fully-equipped spa on the lower deck, complete with several pools, a steam room, sauna, ice plunge, hair salon and a dedicated massage and treatment room. Gigia is also equipped with a large foredeck helipad, capable of holding an H135 helicopter or equivalent, and two 9.6-metre Yachtwerft Meyer tenders, one open and one limousine, in two main deck garages. The 85-metre last completed refit works in 2024.
Pelorus
Asking €160,000,000 with Burgess, Merle Wood & Associates and SuperYachtsMonaco
Builder: Lürssen
Length: 114.5m
Designers: Tim Heywood, Terence Disdale
Pelorus was delivered in 2003 as the 11th largest superyacht in the world and easily the largest yacht to be built by Lürssen at the time. She was commissioned by a Saudi businessman who enjoyed a single cruise aboard his new vessel before a new buyer made an offer too good to refuse. Exterior designer Tim Heywood stocked the yacht with a top deck lido featuring two swimming pools, two helicopter pads and a vast sea-level platform that is revealed by opening the transom. The immense task of designing the interior was carried out by Terence Disdale, who opted to use natural materials wherever possible to maintain a "casual" atmosphere to offset the yacht’s imposing frame. Pelorus can welcome 18 guests, with room for an additional 46 crew members.

Sparta has now overthrown Lusine as the Dutch builder’s largest steel yacht. She was originally delivered as a WWII anti-submarine vessel and was later converted into a private yacht by Aristotle Onassis, the second husband of Jackie Kennedy. Two of her most talked-about features are a mosaic-tiled, saltwater swimming pool that converts to a dance floor and the whale foreskin-upholstered bar stools which surround Christina O's rope-covered bar, colloquially termed Ari's Bar.

Bleu de Nîmes
Asking €47,000,000 with SuperYachtsMonaco
Builder: Clelands, FYD Monaco
Length: 72.3m
Designers: Pier Vittorio Cerruti
Bleu de Nîmes was originally delivered in 1980, commissioned by the British Royal Navy as a degaussing ship, then known as RMAS Lodestone. After a decade of service, she was purchased by an experienced superyacht owner in 1999 and so began an exhaustive six-year refit which transformed her into a capable private explorer yacht. In 2016, her owner decided to upgrade her into a "stylish charter yacht" and embarked on another major rebuild - this one taking four years and completing in 2020. Works included a 16-metre extension to her amidships and stern, and an increase of volume by nearly 600GT, expanding her accommodation to a generous 13-cabin layout for up to 28 guests, cared for by a crew of 23. In terms of amenities, Bleu de Nîmes boasts a library room, an "immersive" cinema room, a beach club and a fully-equipped, 50-square-metre gym next to a massage room and sauna.

The owner's cabin is a particular highlight, spanning two decks and designed with an observation lounge, access to a private foredeck and a floating staircase that leads to an upper deck study. Her new interiors were decorated with a "bold mix of contemporary design and comfort", showcased within the Art Deco-inspired master suite, the main saloon with its neutral colour palette accented by pops of citrus green, and the open-plan sky lounge with "whimsical" lighting - the perfect movie night setting. "The best thing about W is that she is a steel-hulled Feadship – and nothing even comes close," said W's current owner. "She gives you the freedom to explore anywhere in the world, unlike coastal yachts built by other companies." Her spacious interior – originally designed by Bannenberg & Rowell, with touches from A La Mer during her refit – includes a grand master suite with a private balcony and large walk-in wardrobe with dressing room.
