Absolute Introduces New 50 Fly
Absolute Yachts will add the redesigned 50 Fly to its flying-bridge model offerings for the 2021 model year. The company says she provides a balance among size, functionality and comfort. The new boat’s exterior lines include large windows above and belowdecks with minimal or no mullions.
Relaxation Options
On deck, the aft cockpit is shaded by the trailing section of the flying bridge and can be directly connected to the galley via sliding doors and windows. For versatility, a sofa converts to a sunlounge. Above, the flying bridge is among the largest in class and has a table surrounded by a sofa-style lounge, a wetbar, two captain’s chairs at the helm and another full-sized sunlounge. The bow provides a third tanning area and is accessible through a protected walkway.
Inside, the galley has countertop space for prepping meals. It’s situated to port of the salon entry and can be separated from the salon area with an electric sliding partition. The furniture forward of the galley is been redesigned with more storage and support surfaces. A new air-conditioning system and an updated lounge arrangement is intended to make the on board experience more immersive, according to Absolute.
Luxury Accommodations
Belowdecks, the master is in the center of the 50 Fly’s lower deck and is a full-beam configuration. Two side windows are designed without mullions to improve the views. Forward, the VIP cabin also spans the boat’s beam and the en suite head has access from the quarters and from the hallway. The guest cabin has two berths and a walk-in closet and the crew quarters are aft if an unexpected visitor needs a place to sleep.
