Argo Just Made Trip Planning Even Easier with Waypoints

Argo’s Autoroute Just Got an Upgrade — Here’s What’s New

Argo Navigation just launched their highly anticipated waypoints feature. Waypoints was designed to give boaters more control over their trips. Now boaters can easily create multi-stop routes tailored to their preferences and vessel specifications.

Waypoints might seem like a standard navigation feature, but Argo has made them simpler and more intuitive. After studying how boaters plan routes, Argo’s team designed a simple, yet powerful way to plan safe and fully-customized routes. Whether you need to add a side trip or a fuel stop, Argo makes it effortless.

What’s New

  • Navigate your way – Prefer to hug the shoreline for sightseeing or stay farther out for smoother waters? Now you can.
  • Leverage local knowledge – You might know shortcuts or safer paths that default routes could miss.
  • Adapt to conditions – Avoid busy channels, adjust for wind and currents, or reroute around unexpected obstacles.

“Safety and convenience are at the heart of everything we do,” said Captain Jeff, Founder of Argo. “The waypoints feature is a game-changer for boaters who want more control over their route planning while staying confident that their vessel’s specifications are accounted for.”

With Argo’s autorouting technology and the new Waypoints feature, you can easily plan multi-stop routes that consider your boat’s draft and height. Add stops at anchorages, marinas, and restaurants with just a tap or search.

Before using autorouting, make sure your Argo profile is set up with your boat’s draft and buffer settings to avoid shallow or hazardous waters.

The new waypoints feature is available now in the Argo app.

Ahoy and happy boating!
