We should point out that nearly all twin engine boats, and even some single engine boats with bow thrusters, can be fitted with joysticks that are remarkably effective. The days of needing an IPS drive to get joystick functionality are long gone.  And, in some cases, boats can even be retrofitted with joysticks in the aftermarket.
