Big Thunder’s new Florida location is at PGA Marina in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Big Thunder Marine, which is headquartered in Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., has opened a new facility at PGA Marina in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and the location will focus on Fountain center consoles. Big Thunder is owned by Fred Ross, who also owns Iconic Marine Group, the builder of Fountain, Donzi and Baja powerboats.

Selling Fountain and Donzi

“Big Thunder has done a great job representing Iconic Marine Group at Lake of the Ozarks,” Ross said in a statement. “I’m excited for what they can bring to the East Coast of Florida. Nothing handles the rough water like a Fountain and with the level of service that Big Thunder provides, we believe we can elevate the overall customer experience in Florida.”

The Fountain 43 NX is one of the company’s newest center consoles.

Big Thunder Florida will be staffed by industry veterans Tim McNutly in sales and Randy Patterson in service. Both are local residents. In addition to the center consoles, the location will carry the Donzi 41GTZ and the company’s Classic series. Complementary brands are also being considered.

“There really isn’t anything like PGA Marina and the amazing location, and I’m pleased we are able to represent Fountain on the East Coast of Florida,” Jeremy Anderson, general manager of Big Thunder Marine, told lakeexpo.com. “I look forward to taking our elevated customer experience success we’ve had at Lake of the Ozarks and expand our reach into Florida.”
