by Milly Robinson
The industry has celebrated several high-profile launches and deliveries, including the world's first fuel-cell superyacht and Dragonfly, the highly anticipated, 142.1-meter Lürssen. But in the world of superyacht construction, there's always something to look forward to.
Arwen | 113.5m
In July, German shipyard Dorries Yachts unveiled the "Nest", the standout observation platform on its 113.5-meter Project Arwen. Under construction in Bremerhaven and set to launch in 2026, she will serve as the flagship of Dorries Yachts. Her design stems from the drawing boards of Pindaros and Andy Waugh Yacht Design, with naval architecture by Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture. Renderings revealed in July 2024 showcase an extensive list of amenities, including a 20-meter long swimming pool (which can be hydraulically raised to extend the deck area), a multi-level spiral staircase, a helipad and a gym.
