Boston Whaler’s New 420 Outrage Anniversary Edition

The 420 Outrage Anniversary Edition is powered by triple 600-hp Mercury V12 Verado outboards.

Boston Whaler is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its Outrage series in a big way by introducing a new flagship, the 420 Outrage. She’s powered by triple 600-hp Mercury V12 Verado outboards and has updated colors and textures throughout.

Premium Aura

She catches the eye as soon as she appears with exterior upholstery finished in Sea Gray that has a more modern, sculptural style. The engines are painted to match the hullsides and the hardtop is painted to match as well.

Additional upgrades were made to the 420 Outrage Anniversary Edition’s interior with multiple color choices for the upholstery, countertops and flooring for the cockpit, galley and cabin. A teak accent package adds a touch of class to the helm, second row of seats, bow cupholders, rod storage and toe rails.

Teak accents on the ladder-backed helm seats add an upscale look and notices the air conditioning ducts.

Continuing the high-quality look, the hardtop frame is finished in matte black that helps give the boat a sleeker profile. The color treatment is used on the frame, grabrails and underside of the hardtop.

Crowd Pleaser

Speaking of the helm seats, the companion units can be swiveled to aft facing and three more people can travel in the aforementioned second row. On the back side of these seats is a cockpit bar with a sink, grill and refrigerator. Up front, there’s a large lounge on the front the console and there’s wraparound seating in the bow.

The cockpit offers amenities for fishing and cruising including teak toe rails and tables.

To accommodate the myriad activities that a family enjoys on the water, a hullside door is provided to port. There are plenty of rod holders throughout and the available upper station gives the captain and a crew member a raised position for spotting fish.

The hullside door opens to provide access for watersports or hauling in a fat tuna.

Below, she has a full galley with a lounge that converts to a berth forward and a private mid cabin.

Eliminating the need to load up on ice before heading out, Boston Whaler provides its Frostbox Refrigeration System to keep catches fresh or beverages chilled. Another highlight of the standard equipment list is a Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizer.
