Chris-Craft Launch 31 GT:

Elegant, Classic Design w/ Modern Features

chriscraft-launch31gt-090720.png

Chris-Craft Launch 31 GT

The Chris-Craft Launch 31 GT is a bowrider designed to entertain and comfortably accommodate 14 people during a day on the water. She has classic, rounded lines that hark back to the days of wooden boats and Chris-Craft’s heyday. Teak accents add class, but modern practical features such as a hullside entry door, cockpit refreshment center and Bimini top or color coordinated hardtop are features never dreamed of 75 years ago. She’s available in sterndrive or outboard power. More...

Intrepid Boats 475 Panacea:

Custom Center Console Goes 60 MPH

intrepid-475-090720.jpg

Intrepid Boats 475 Panacea

Intrepid Boats was one of the first center-console manufacturers to recognize the boats could be more than just a utilitarian fishing machine and the 475 Panacea is an excellent example of that concept. She’s custom-built to an owner’s specifications and has the space people want to fish, relax, dance or stow dive tanks. Belowdecks, our test boat had a realistic layout with a dinette that seats five and an electrically powered table can be lowered and filled in to create a berth. On the water, she can be powered with outboards of the owners’ choosing and our test boat topped 60 mph. More...

Fleming Yachts 58:

Serious Trawler True to Her Mission

fleming-58-091020.jpg

Fleming Yachts 58

The Fleming 58 is designed for the experienced cruising couple who wants to enjoy extended time at sea. The whole boat is designed to be owner friendly. She’s built with as many safeguards, and redundancies as reasonably possible to keep things from going wrong and to make the boat easy to handle and get around on. Bulwarks are 28” (71.12 cm) tall to make passage to the bow safe. Inside, an overhead handhold runs down the salon’s centerline, something we’d like to see more of but rarely do. Overall, she is a very robust 58, and most serious cruising couples will be well satisfied with this vessel. There is an order backlog, so interested parties should not assume there is one instantly available and need to plan ahead. Find out why...

Jeanneau NC 37:

She Opens the Door to Entertainment

jeanneau-nc37-090720.png

The Jeanneau NC 37’s cockpit and salon merge seamlessly thanks to the design of the glass doors.

On the NC 37, Jeanneau uses sliding glass doors to create smooth flow between the aft cockpit and salon, but the manufacturer goes a step farther to open up things even more. The middle and port-side sections look like a standard slider when closed, but rather than having one fixed panel that sits behind a sliding panel, the two sections work like a bi-fold door that pulls all the way over to port. The effect is that there is no barrier to circulation. The starboard third of the glass is a half-panel bar window that can be raised and latched in place under the hardtop. More...
