CL Yachts will have a major presence at the Miami International Boat Show Feb. 14-18.
CL Yachts is a division of parent company Cheoy Lee Yachts, industry leader and pioneer of fiberglass and vacuum-bagged construction techniques, including the world's first all-foam-cored production motor yacht.
The fourth-generation builder will present three special yachts at the show , the CLX96, the CLB72 and the CLB65. Here’s a look at some of their high points.
CLX96—The Motor Yacht, Reinvented
The CLX96 has bold expedition-style lines including a plumb bow that adds volume on the accommodations deck. She includes every imaginable amenity. The Sky Lounge is fully enclosed, but sliding doors and windows turn this into another venue for enjoying the salt breezes.
With massive windows and glass doors surrounding the main deck social areas, the CLX96 offers impressive views in every direction.
The skylight plus huge hullside windows bring lots of natural light into the expansive master suite, which takes full advantage of her 24’ (7.32 m) beam.
CLB72—The Born Entertainer
From the strategic use of carbon fiber to ensure best-in-class efficiency and performance to elegant, comfortable lounge spaces that connect families aboard, the CLB72 is designed, engineered and built for carefree comfort and extended living on the water.
The large hydraulic swim platform accessed by staircases on either side is a great place to dive, swim or launch water toys. Below decks she sleeps 8 plus 2 crew.
The salon, galley and forward lounge area flow together seamlessly, and the main deck helm keeps the captain in the fun.
The CLB72 utilizes the most advanced technologies in the marine industry. Gyro stabilization with active interceptor system ensure a smooth ride. A CZONE monitoring system oversees tankage and major boat functions, and integrated navigation electronics are installed in both helm stations.
CLB65—The Spirit of Adventure
The CLB65 is right-sized for a cruising family or two couples, but can also entertain large crowds when the occasion demands.
The aft deck lounge welcomes entertainment, and the broad teak staircase makes for easy access to the flying bridge. Below she accommodates 6 plus a single crewman.
Expansive windows, natural wood tones, modern fixtures and furniture with neutral color palettes create a smart yet relaxed space in the salon, while the aft galley flows into the back deck through large sliding glass doors.
