Colombia Trying to Attract Boaters

The Cartagena boat show was growing in terms of attendance and exhibitors before the pandemic hit.

ProColombia, the tourism board of the South American nation of Columbia, is spreading the word about its safety protocols as it attempts to reactivate tourism and welcome visitors to the country.

Eased Requirements

The tourism organization says that incoming travelers have replaced petroleum as the country’s primary industry. Travelers no longer need to present a Negative PCR Covid test to travel to or enter the country. Visitors are asked to fill out a questionnaire up to 24 hours prior to arriving.

As of December 8, there were no quarantine requirements to travel to Colombia, according to Trade Only Today.

Colombia is an attractive destination for watersports and fishing enthusiasts.
