The Cruisers Yachts 34 GLS (top) appears to be only a foot or so longer than the Cruisers Yacht 338 outboard, which was one of the first crossovers on the market. When Boston Whaler replaced the 220 Outrage with the 230, one of the first things we noticed was the feeling of more interior space. A veteran cruiser and DIYer decided to replace the batteries in his 2006 Nordic Tug 54. The existing six-volt Lifeline AGM batteries were strung in a series/parallel network giving a usable capacity of 220 amps at 24 volts. He replaced them with Trojan T105-AGM units.
