Bulgarian family-owned Elica Group has announced the launch of its luxury power catamaran brand Omaya Yachts, with its first model, the OMAYA 50, to be completed this summer.

“Being on the water has always been a passion of our family and runs deep in our DNA,” says Kaloyan Radulov, co-founder and CEO of Omaya Yachts and Elica Yard. “It was a natural progression for Elica Group to develop a range of serial-production yachts with the aim of building the very best power catamarans. Corporate investment in Elica Yard has enhanced its 15,000 square meter (161,560 sq. ft.) facilities and modernized operations to accommodate cutting-edge technologies for producing turnkey yacht projects. This has resulted in streamlining the shipbuilding process, reducing costs and achieving high quality in the vessels it produces, per the company. Elica Group has 30 years of experience in manufacturing. The Omaya Yacht yard is situated on the banks of the Danube.

The Omaya 50 has an 8.4 m beam, providing impressive social zones and accommodations as well as the promise of stability much greater than monohulls of similar LOA.

The first of Omaya’s yachts, the OMAYA 50, is a 50’ (15.24 m) luxury catamaran with a remarkable beam of 27’7” (8.4 m), which provides unrivalled additional space within the lower deck and cabins as well as generous saloon/galley living space.

The bow area’s layout is focused on creating comfortable social areas, with large sunbeds, ample comfortable seating areas and lots of open deck space. The yacht is designed with socializing and entertaining in mind, with the potential of longer-term living on board during extended cruising.

The cruising version of the Omaya 50 devotes one entire hull to the owner’s suite. A charter version with added accommodations is optional.

She is available in two configurations for the lower deck, with the owner's version providing a large master cabin covering the entire port side complete with a double bed, sofa, desk and vanity area, integrated wardrobe and large ensuite offering double basins and a full standing shower. Two further double guest cabins are on the starboard side with ensuite bathrooms and an additional crew cabin.
