Evene Introduces Origin Series of Superyacht Tenders

Evene’s Origin Series offers two customizable tenders for yachts over 30m.

Evene Tenders, part of the Williams Marine Group and sister brand to Williams Jet Tenders, has launched its first range of superyacht tenders, named the Origin Series. The series includes two models: the 5.7m Origin 57 and the 7.1m Origin 71.

The Origin 57 is designed for yachts over 30 meters and can accommodate up to nine guests. It incorporates a Petestep hull, a patented design that reduces hydrodynamic resistance by redirecting spray energy. This hull is intended to improve ride quality, efficiency and stability. Both tenders feature Evene’s distinctive scallop hull detailing.

Materials and components across the series reflect an emphasis on sustainability. The cork decking is sourced from regenerative forests and is available in a traditional plank or a contour pattern inspired by Ordnance Survey coordinates. The upholstery is removable and uses materials from the Valencia Biosense and Vestige ranges.

The Origin 57 and 71 are powered by YANMAR 4LV diesel engines compatible with HVO 100 fuel. According to DEFRA’s Condensed Set of GHG calculations 2023, this can reduce net CO2 emissions by up to 97 per cent compared to conventional diesel. Evene notes that CO2 emissions vary depending on feedstock and is working with its fuel partners to better understand the environmental impact.

Additional onboard technology includes a Raymarine Axiom 12″ multifunction display with a depth sounder and chartplotter, a Fusion audio system with six speakers, LED-illuminated footwells, and accessory mounts designed for equipment such as mountain bikes. A custom Evene-designed steering wheel and boarding pole are also included.

Each Origin 57 is built to order with options for custom finishes, colors and yacht branding.

Evene Tenders was established by brothers Mathew and John Hornsby, who also founded Williams Jet Tenders. Their experience spans over 25 years and includes the development of models such as the MiniJet, TurboJet, SportJet, DieselJet and EvoJet. Williams builds over 1,000 boats annually at its Oxfordshire facility.

“The launch of the Origin Series is a proud milestone for our team at Evene Tenders,” says Mathew Hornsby, co-founder and commercial director. “It embodies the passion, craftsmanship, and innovation that our team has poured into this project. This tender is a testament to what can be achieved when tradition and exceptional design meet forward-thinking practices, and we are excited to see it set a new standard for sustainability and performance in the industry.”

The Origin 57 has a dry weight of 1,400kg, a beam of 2.25m, and a draft of 0.35m. It has a fuel capacity of 100 litres and is powered by a 195hp Yanmar 4LV diesel engine. Maximum speed is 36 knots.
