First 100% Electric Greenline 40 Hits the US

A brand-new era for sustainable yachting has officially arrived in North America with the delivery of the first 100% electric Greenline 40 yacht. The vessel, which Yacht Sales International received, is the first fully electric 40 ft model from Greenline and was developed in partnership with Ingenity Electric.
There is one other fully electric Greenline in the US, a 2020 Greenline 39 E-Drive.
The Greenline 40, custom-ordered by a client, was recently delivered in Baltimore and will reside in Annapolis, Maryland. It's designed for zero-emission boating without sacrificing luxury, comfort, or capability. The Greenline 40 Electric features Ingenity's 135 kW twin-motor mCrate propulsion system, which provides a silent and seamless cruising experience with reduced environmental impact.

What Makes This Yacht So Advanced?
Powered by two 135 kW electric motors and three 63 kWh lithium NMC battery packs, the Greenline 40 Electric boasts a total capacity of 189 kWh at 400V. It features a 10 kW onboard Level 2 charger with DC fast-charge capability up to 85 kW.
The yacht’s advanced thermal management system, complete with a heat pump, ensures optimal performance, while the Ingenity Connect app allows for remote telematics and over-the-air updates.
The electric drivetrain eliminates emissions, significantly reduces maintenance needs, and provides a quiet, vibration-free ride—making it perfect for eco-conscious cruising.
