FLIR Introduces Raymarine YachtSense to North America

YachtSense’s modular design makes it customizable for boat manufacturers and installers.

FLIR Systems has made Raymarine’s YachtSense, a digital control system for a vessel’s electrical systems, available to the North American market. The modular nature of the YachtSense system makes it easier to automate a vessel for builders and technical installers. It’s engineered for reliability, flexibility and ease-of-use and is scalable and customizable, offering intuitive control of on board systems through a Raymarine Axiom multifunction display.

Modular Design

YachtSense’s modular architecture lets boat builders design and standardize digital controls across the model range. Each system begins with the YachtSense Master Module and Power Supply Module and it’s completed with a combination of additional multi-channel signal units. The individual modules interface with specific types of on board devices and systems including lights, pumps, windlass, swim platforms, entertainment systems, climate control, generators and more.

“YachtSense is the new standard in premium digital control solution for today’s most sophisticated vessels,” said Gregoire Outters, general manager for the Raymarine brand. “Our smart, modular and expandable system gives total freedom to boat builders to design ultra-reliable and highly tailored solutions that best meet the individual needs of their specific vessels and customers.”

Individual modules let a builder or captain customize the YachtSense system.

The YachtSense system delivers three levels of electric redundancy. Master Modules feature an integrated keypad for manual override as well as an LCD for system diagnostics. All YachtSense modules are housed in IPX6 waterproof enclosures and are backed by a three-year warranty.
