Galeon Yachts Launches New Website

As boat sales continue to rise and industry leaders see a shift to virtual shopping, Galeon Yachts has launched a new website that offers a more user-friendly experience with faster, more straightforward navigation.

“Since the beginning of the pandemic, online shopping for boats has significantly increased, making the importance of a brand’s website much more vital to the customer experience," Bob Burke, Galeon brand manager, said. "Once again, our team is redefining what on-the-water luxury means! The new website better reflects the handcrafted elegance that owners come to find in Galeon Yachts.”

Virtual shopping has grown at all price points for new, pre-owned and brokerage categories. According to the National Marine Manufacturers Assocation (NMMA), new boat sales increased 60% from April and May 2020, which is almost 20% higher than 2019 figures. Another increase was the unit sales of new boats, reaching almost 320,000 last year. This was up 13% compared to 2019.

The recreational boating industry hasn't seen numbers this high since 2008, according to the NMMA's December Reports.

Galeon 325 GTO

The 325 GTO was the first model released in the new GTO line from Galeon Yachts.

“Galeon Yachts is an aspirational brand for many. With the new website and the first model from the new GTO line, we are excited to bring hallmark quality, design, and innovation to a larger audience of boating and yachting enthusiasts,” Burke said.
