When you purchase a new Mercury 2.5 – 425hp outboard as part of a new boat package, you’ll get the standard 3-year limited warranty, plus an additional 4 years of factory-backed Mercury Product Protection Gold coverage (a value of up to $8,330 per engine), for a total of 7 years of coverage, with the usual caveats.

The Mercury Marine "Get 7" promotion for Spring 2026 includes a wide variety of boat builders, as it applies to any new boat package or repower using a qualifying new Mercury outboard purchased from a participating dealer. 

Specific boat builders known to have participated through their dealer networks or factory programs include:

  • Alumacraft: Dealers like Energy Powersports mention that the warranty is applicable when upgrading an Alumacraft fishing boat with a new Mercury engine.
  • Bayliner: Bayliner is a Brunswick brand (parent company of Mercury Marine) and the offer is explicitly tied to saving opportunities on new Bayliner models with Mercury power.
  • Bennington: This pontoon builder is mentioned by dealers as participating in promotions alongside Mercury.
  • Boston Whaler: Another Brunswick brand, Boston Whaler packages are eligible for this manufacturer-backed offer.
  • Carolina Skiff: Mentioned by dealers as an eligible brand for various promotions.
