Greenline 42 Heads to Fort Lauderdale for US Debut

Greenline Yachts will present the all-new Greenline 42 at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2026, marking the model's highly anticipated US debut and introducing a new generation of comfortable, efficient cruising to the American market.

"Fort Lauderdale is the ideal setting for the US debut of the Greenline 42," said Global Business Director Alessandro Lorenzon. "The US is an important market for Greenline, and we are very excited to bring the 42 to Fort Lauderdale. This yacht brings together the qualities our owners value most, exceptional comfort, intelligent use of space, efficient cruising and advanced energy management, with a fresh and contemporary design. We look forward to welcoming customers and the boating community on board."

Contemporary Design, Inside and Out

The Greenline 42 builds on the successful collaboration between Greenline Yachts and designer Marco Casali, whose work on the Greenline 58 helped define a new design direction for the brand. Casali has introduced a refined Italian flair to the exterior while enhancing life on board with features inspired by larger models, including the inviting foredeck lounge.

"When we gathered feedback from our owners, several priorities became clear," said Lorenzon. "They wanted more cockpit space for relaxing, higher performance under power and a more contemporary aesthetic. The Greenline 42 delivers all of that while remaining true to the DNA that has made Greenline successful."

With its elegant S-shaped sheerline, expansive 360-degree glazing and streamlined roof profile, the Greenline 42 combines contemporary design with the comfort, efficiency and stability that define the Greenline philosophy.

Flexibility Redefined

The redesigned cockpit offers greater space and versatility, with a generous four-person dining table, comfortable seating and optional configurations including a drop-down aft platform and open lounging areas.

Inside and out, the yacht has been designed as one connected living space. Lowering the galley windows and opening the aft doors seamlessly connects the saloon and cockpit, creating a spacious social area for entertaining and relaxing.

Efficient By Design

Greenline's approach to energy management remains at the heart of the 42. Ten integrated solar panels can generate up to 4.5kW of power, feeding a standard 22kWh house battery bank that can be expanded to 66kWh.

In favorable conditions, the solar array can support the yacht's hotel loads, including air conditioning, refrigeration, induction cooking and device charging, allowing owners to enjoy quiet, generator-free time at anchor.

The Greenline 42 is available with twin 250hp Yanmar diesel engines or Greenline's H-Drive 6G hybrid propulsion system. In hybrid mode, the yacht can cruise silently at up to 6.5 knots, while the system also regenerates energy underway in diesel mode. The new Micad-designed hull delivers a top speed of 25 knots while improving efficiency and stability.

Spacious, Elegant Interior

Below deck, the Greenline 42 offers a bright two-cabin layout, with a forward owner's cabin and a flexible guest cabin configurable with twin or double berths. An optional second bathroom provides additional privacy.

Casali's contemporary interior features clean lines, refined detailing and abundant natural light, with two design schemes available: GoldenTeak and Silver Oak.
"With the new Greenline 42, we wanted to evolve the design without losing the qualities that owners already love," said Casali. "The emphasis was on creating cleaner forms, more contemporary living spaces and a stronger connection between the interior and exterior architecture of the yacht."

A Landmark Year for Greenline Yachts

The US debut of the Greenline 42 comes during an exceptionally active year for Greenline Yachts, with several significant new models making their world debuts across the company's portfolio.

"It has been a fantastic year for Greenline," said Greenline owner and CEO Vladimir Zinchenko. "We started the year with the world debut of the Greenline 42, and since then we have continued to introduce new models and push the boundaries of what we can offer our customers. The Greenline 50 made its world debut in Cannes, while the GX Superyachts 42 meters made its world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show. It has been an incredibly exciting period for the company, and now we are looking forward to bringing the Greenline 42 to the US and showing it to our customers, partners and friends at Fort Lauderdale."

"The Greenline 42 represents where we see the future of cruising: more comfort, greater flexibility, higher efficiency and smarter use of energy, without compromising on the pleasure of being on the water. We are extremely proud of the yacht and cannot wait to see the reaction to it in the US."

The Greenline 42 will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from 28 October to 1 November 2026, giving US customers, dealers, media and boating enthusiasts their first opportunity to step aboard the new model.
