Height of Eye on a Cruiser’s Main Helm

Anyone ever wonder why some boats have better visibility from the helm than others? It could be because some manufacturers do a better job of following ABYC standards than others. There are simple standards for height from seated and standing positions, and consumers should know what they are.  Don’t assume that all boat designers know them, because some clearly don’t.
