Simrad NSS EVO3S:

Multifunction displays have almost become required equipment on any boat longer than 25’ (7.62 m) and what sets apart the new Simrad NSS EVO3 from the competition is the logic of the user interface. It has an integrated iMX 8 six-core processor, a 12” (30.48 cm) SolarMAX IPS display with ultra-wide viewing angles, a built-in echosounder with 1kW CHIRP and a host of improvements over the EVO2. Preloaded C-MAP US enhanced charts provide even more detailed mapping.

Cruisers Yachts 60 Fly:

Luxurious Flying Bridge Yacht

On the Cruisers Yachts 60 Fly, the upper helm is centrally positioned with slender chaise lounges flanking the captain on each side and another wider lounge on the front of the helm console. The helm itself is under the hardtop, but the seats up front are out in the open for sunbathing. Abaft the helm, the flying bridge has a sink, built-in cooler and a grill all under latched lids with a drawer-style refrigerator below. Aft beneath the hardtop, a U-shaped lounge wraps around a wooden table on a stout steel base.

High-Tech Outboard Performance Yacht

The Hinckley Yachts 40x bottom is an update of the deep-V hull form that the pioneered in the early 1960s by Hunt and Associates. The 40x is a new design that was drawn specifically for modern outboard engines and standard power is triple 300-hp Mercury Verado outboards. She’s built with carbon-fiber, Kevlar and infused epoxy resin to be light, strong and fast.

Aviara AV36:

Classy Dayboat Tops 55 MPH

Powered by triple 300-hp Mercury Verados, the Aviara AV36 is a capable performer. She has an overall length of 38’6” (11.73 m) and a wide 10’10” (3.30 m) beam and an as-tested weight of 16,507 lbs. (7,487 kg), so she’s not a small boat. Still, she hit a top speed of 55.8 mph at 6000 rpm. MasterCraft is the parent of Aviara, so it’s no surprise that the AV36 boasts quick acceleration numbers. She planed in 4.2 seconds and scooted through 20 mph in 5.2 seconds and through 30 in 6.9.

Tracker Accelerates Boat Production

New boat sales in the United States took off again in September, up 22% from August, and it’s an early indicator of another robust selling season. To make sure they have plenty of aluminum product in the summer of 2021, the company is boosting production. The boat seen above was the brand’s most popular boat in 2020. Volvo Penta Embraces Alternative Power

Volvo Penta is the largest supplier of diesel engines to the marine industry and has made a strong commitment to electric power for the future. In one of its first projects with alternative power, Volvo Penta partnered with Fountaine Pajot to unveil a Lucia 40 catamaran with a fully electric propulsion system. And that’s just the beginning.

Front Runner Boatworks’ founders had an extensive background in boat service and customization, so they knew what they wanted when they built the 39 CC, a serious offshore fishing machine with enough cruising features to keep the family happy. She has a twin-step bottom and can be powered by up to quad 450-hp outboards from Mercury Racing. She also has high freeboard from bow to stern and a large coffin box covered by a padded lounge in the foredeck.
