ICOM M93D: Floating Handheld VHF Radio

Icom’s M93D looks like just another handheld VHF radio with a removable antenna, belt clip and a corded attachable microphone. What sets this unit apart from others is that it also has a built-in GPS. It can store up to 50 waypoints and the unit can be used to navigate to those spots. Because it has GPS and DSC, when an emergency alert goes out, so does the user’s location. See the video.
