Latest Greenline Hybrid 40 -- Better than Ever!

Greenline is a European builder that has been years ahead of the others when it comes to building hybrid motoryachts. We like the brand because they are constantly innovating and improving the concept -- they are the real pioneers in this space. They also don't make claims and promises that they can't keep, like so many builders venturing into the all- electric or hybrid market. No matter what the brand of all-electric and hybrid boats, the limited capacity of current Lithium-ion batteries dictates speed and range.

There are dozens of battery makers trying to break the code for much greater capacity, and it is inching ahead year by year. That's why hybrid makes sense in this transitional period of undetermined length. The trick is to know how to use the battery capacity to reduce your running costs by alternating back and forth from diesel to electric, and averaging the speed.
