Mercury Marine Expands V10 Verado Lineup
New V10 Verado Outboards: More Power, Less Weight, and Unmatched Performance
Mercury Marine has just expanded its renowned Verado outboard lineup, introducing a powerful new V10 425hp Verado and an enhanced V10 350hp Verado. These new engines are designed to set a new standard for performance, delivering exceptional power, acceleration, and fuel efficiency while maintaining the signature smoothness and quiet operation that defines the Verado family.

Unrivaled Power and Performance
The new 425hp model is built for serious power, delivering class-leading acceleration and significant weight advantages. In testing, the new 425hp Verado proved to be 3 seconds faster from 0 to 30 mph on a loaded center-console boat. It also boasts a 150-amp alternator—the highest output in its class—and is 22% quieter at cruise than a 450hp competitor.
The enhanced 350hp V10 Verado also brings impressive improvements to the table, with a 2.7 mph higher top speed and a massive 15% quicker 0-50 mph acceleration thanks to enhanced mid-range torque. This model is also 40% quieter at cruise compared to a 350hp competitor and has four times the alternator output at cruise compared to a 350hp competitor.

Optimized for Repower and Modern Builds
Both the 425hp and 350hp models are built on Mercury's compact V10 platform, making them an excellent choice for boaters looking to upgrade. With 26-inch center-to-center mounting, they are ideal for repowering boats originally rigged with L6 Verado or competitive outboards. Both engines come standard with Digital Throttle & Shift and offer optional Joystick Piloting for precise control.
