New Absolute 50 Fly
Absolute Yachts has introduced the 50 Fly, a new motoryacht. Highlights of the new model include wide uninterrupted windows on the main deck and below. The Italian manufacturer says her flying bridge is among the largest in class and features a lounge that wraps around a table, a galley and side-by-side seats at the helm.
Ready to Entertain
A protected walkway leads forward to the bow where there’s a small sofa just aft of a large sunpad. Aft, the cockpit is protected by the flying bridge extension overhead and has a sofa that converts to another large flat lounge.
The cockpit connects to the galley, which is immediately to port upon entering the salon. An electrically powered sliding glass panel can be used to separate the galley from the salon. The salon furniture has been redesigned with new storage spaces and support surfaces. Sofa-style lounges and a new air conditioning system ensure a comfortable gathering area. A door immediately outboard of the lower helm gives the captain a better view of his surroundings when maneuvering in tight quarters.
Accommodating Cabins
Belowdecks, the 50 Fly has a full-beam master stateroom in the center of the boat and has windows that are designed without mullions to provide improved views. The en suite head materials that Absolute hasn’t used before. The VIP cabin is forward and its en suite doubles as the day head while the third cabin has two single berths. An aft cabin can serve as crew or guest quarters.
