New Bow Design Improves Performance

On the new 54 Yacht Power Catamaran, Aquila’s engineers added molded-in spray rails, a bulbous bow on each hull and raked stems for aesthetics. The new version has a "softer," more streamlined look that we are used to seeing on monohull motoryachts. These bulbous bows increase the waterline length to extend the running surface, improve flotation to reduce pounding and give the 54 more of a gentle, more natural movement when underway. More...

Invitation-Only Steelpointe

Show June 17-20 in Bridgeport, CT

This year’s Steelpointe Yacht & Charter Show promises to be the biggest one ever held in Bridgeport, CT.

Each year the Steelpointe Show gets bigger and more influential. Its unique invitation-only venue attracts boaters who are seriously interested in spending time on boats and getting to know them. By limiting the number of invitations for each day, show management can assure a relaxed atmosphere with good music and high spirits. Boats from many of the major dealers from New Jersey to Cape Cod will be there, exhibiting the stock they still have available and boats ready to go. This will likely be the last time to buy a boat for the rest of the 2021 model season.
