Absolute 50 Fly

Built for Strength and Comfort

When we were aboard the Absolute 50 Fly, a tropical storm kept us from conducting a performance evaluation. Based on what we’ve seen from the Italian manufacturer’s construction process, we think she would have been up to the task. Chaparral 30 Surf

Head of the Class

In addition to being yacht rated, which means there’s no listed maximum number of passengers, there’s another benefit to the Chaparral 30 Surf being the largest wakesurfing boat on the market. A sink with a pull-up shower and a porta-potty come standard, but an owner can upgrade to a porcelain toilet with pumpout. Overall headroom in the compartment is 47” (119.38 cm) and there’s 33” (83.82 cm) of seated space. More...

Yamaha’s 255 FSH Sport E is a 24’6” (7.46 m) family center console powered by twin 250-hp 1.8-liter Yamaha Marine SVHO engines connected to jet pumps. When we wound them up to 7400 rpm, we hit a top speed of 57.5 mph. Out of the hole, she hit 30 mph in six seconds. In turns, she felt smooth and predictable. More...
