Keeping a Flybridge Boat Looking Sleek

The Absolute Navetta 48’s flying bridge helm was carefully designed to have low visual top hamper, as can be seen in the inset image. To do that, her designers have carefully placed a dark-colored wind deflector around the forward part of the helm. This is a technique often used by European designers, as the eye tends not to focus on that part of the boat because, of course, black doesn’t reflect nearly as much light as white does.
