CL Yachts CLB72

Family Yacht on a Grand Scale

CL Yachts, the division of Cheoy Lee that focuses on vessels measuring less than 100’ (30.48 m), has unveiled the CLB72, a  76’11” (23.44 m) motoryacht designed like a traditional long-range cruiser. We’re told that she’s intended for an owner/operator who wants to cruise with family. The salon has all freestanding furniture and the galley is on the main deck with four cabins plus crew quarters below. Up top, her flying bridge has volume comparable to yachts in the mega class. Formula 350 Sun Sport

Extended Platform a Worthwhile Upgrade

It comes with an aft-facing sunlounge that measures 4’ x 5’ (1.22 m 1.52 m), a water-level boarding ladder tucker under the center and a heavy-duty rail that encircles the entire platform. It’s a “faux teak beach” for hanging out and lots of swimming. More...

Chaparral 23 Surf

Surf, Board, Ski, Swim, Sun, Cruise

Regardless of the propulsion system, a wakesurfing boat needs to be set up for socializing as well as riding the wakes. The Chaparral 23 Surf’s sunlounge over the engine can accommodate two people stretched across for sunbathing. The forward pads are hinged and can be raised to form an angled backrest for folks to take a seat and watch the little ones swim when the boat is at rest. Actually, this is only the beginning of this innovative aft seating. Check out our video and report for all of the tricks. More...

Iguana Amphibian

First and Foremost a Real Boat

The Iguana Amphibian is a 30’ (9.14 m) rigid-hulled inflatable that just happens to have fold-up tank-like tracks that propel the vehicle across land. When equipped with twin 300-hp outboards, she’s a RIB with a top speed that pushes 50 mph and is every bit a day boat that can be used for snorkeling, SCUBA diving, watersports or hanging out at the sandbar. Unlike other boats, she can drive up on said sandbar. More...

After all the stuff a boatowner deals with from fish blood, guts and scales to the fragrant evidence that a passenger had too many margaritas last night, he/she needs a way to wash away the nastiness. It’s easier to do that sooner than later so consider installing a deck washdown system, if you don’t have one. More...

Good Boating Idea Of The Day

armrest

Armrest becomes a beverage holder. Notice how this armrest when opened becomes a convenient beverage holder. Also, this builder utilized the space behind the seatback for storage. Here it holds 15 PFDs in the storage area.
