Fairline Targa 45 GT

Next-Level Express Yacht

With her open main-deck plan, the Fairline Targa 45 GT is designed for entertaining both inside and out at the same time to accommodate a crowd of guests. She’s also for the couple whose kids are getting close to leaving the nest and want to spend as much quality time as possible before they depart, or maybe just to enjoy the grandkids before they get interested in other diversions. She’s also for the buyer coming from a smaller, similarly styled boat that just wants more space and to venture a little farther from home in a boat with a higher level of fit and finish. To increase utility, she has a tender garage, something not often found on this size boat. More...

Benefits of an Enclosed Flying Bridge

The Monte Carlo Yachts 70 Skylounge was a precedent-setting design when she was introduced. She was the first in her size range with an enclosed flying bridge from Italy. There’s a single step up, so there’s a natural separation between the salon and the dining area and galley forward. More...

Alumacraft Competitor 205

Who Needs a Steering Wheel?

A boat doesn’t need a steering wheel to be fun or versatile. The Alumacraft Competitor 205 is powered by an outboard with a tiller handle. She has moveable seats that can be plugged into the raised carpeted foredeck or down in the cockpit for better protection when running. She also has two aerated livewells with timers, a Bluetooth stereo and a full complement of analog gauges. More...

Good Maintenance Starts in the Bilge

Many boatowners are good about keeping up with engine maintenance, but they sometimes forget other systems. A good owner checks on everything including hose clamps, thru-hulls, sea strainers and more.
