Each GB85 will be built to an individual owner’s specifications based on the yacht’s open plan. She’s available with an open flying bridge or enclosed skylounge. Tiara Sport 43 LE
Everyone Can Watch the Sunset in Comfort
We’ve sung the praises of the rotating aft bench seat in the Tiara Sport 43 LE, but when it comes to entertaining, this versatile yacht has more to offer. Forward in the cockpit are aft-facing seats set at 45-degree angles to provide open space for easy passage. At the helm, the twin two-person seats also rotate. This means eight people can face aft to join the party. More...

Regal LS6 Surf
The Agility of Forward-Facing Props
When it comes to being fun to drive, most wakesports boats don’t conjure up that image. With the Volvo Penta Forward Drive, the 26’4” (8.03 m) long Regal LS6 Surf actually responds much more quickly and precisely than a conventional stern drive sport boat, to say nothing of an inboard. So when it’s time to let the driver get an adrenaline rush, empty the ballast and whip the LS6 through some aggressive turns. She’ll rise to the challenge. More...

EU Timeline for Banning Internal
Combustion Engines
Following previous discussions, the European Commission has proposed a date to end the use of internal combustion engines, according to the news service Seeking Alpha. The report said that sales of new cars and vans that produce carbon monoxide, including plug-in hybrids, would be banned as of 2035. This means that almost all vehicles on the road in Europe would be emissions-free by 2050. More...

Mako Pro Skiff 19 CC
Purpose-Designed and Affordable
Mako’s Pro Skiff 19 CC is more than just another flat-bottom fishing boat. Her Advanced Inverted V (AIV) bottom design has been utilized on all the company’s skiffs. It’s a tri-hull with clear water channels that Mako says provide brisk acceleration when underway and stability when drift fishing or at idle. Hard chines and a bow dimple also help knock down spray. How to Improve Prop Performance
When a boat runs poorly, propellers often get blamed. If the engines are in good shape, it’s only natural to get “propeller tunnel vision” and start indicting your blades for not doing their job. Before you yank out the prop puller and start trying new wheels, remember that props must work in harmony with the rest of the boat. More...

Good Boating Idea Of The Day
This relatively low-cost canvas shelter costs under $1,200 and is reusable every winter, which saves on annual plastic wrap. It is also more attractive in the backyard than an exposed boat on a trailer. (No offense.)
