We tested the Sailfish 272CC with twin 150-hp Yamaha outboards and hit a top speed of 41.3 mph. Best cruise came at 3500 rpm where she ran 22.2 mph, burned 2.1 mpg and had a range of 327 statute miles. With the optional 200-hp Yamaha F200XCA upgrade, Sailfish says the boat runs 50.2 mph at WOT and has a best cruise at 3500 rpm as well, running 26.0 mph and getting 2.39 mpg for a range of just over 380 statute miles.
