New Jaguar 37 OS: The Builder Claims 600-Mile Range

Jaguar 370S Offshore Catamaran

The New Jaguar 370S Offshore Catamaran

Jaguar Powerboats has enhanced its Offshore Fish series with its new 37 Offshore Series (37OS), a highly-capable offshore fishing platform.

The boat will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 26–30, Red Zone docks, slips GH24 and JADU.

This power cat features a fully integrated monocoque structure, per the company. It's built of 100% Corecell™ and fully infused epoxy resin that's both lighter and stronger than traditional techniques and materials. The hull is backed by a lifetime warranty.

The Jaguar Powerboats logo will be familiar to those who follow offshore racing, so the company clearly knows how to build fast, durable boats capable of making long offshore runs in challenging conditions.

With the 37OS, the company added key racing design elements that should ensure a safe, dry and seaworthy ride. The hull features an aerodynamic- and hydrodynamic-stabilized forced air tunnel with an anti-stuffing bow that should provide a comfortable ride in most sea conditions.

Lightweight and Long Range

In-tunnel lifting strakes reduce surface drag to bring the boat up to plane quickly and, combined with the light weight, enable it to run efficiently with far less power than competitors in this class, per the company. With a fully-rigged weight of only 8,500-8,600 lbs. (3856-3901 kg) including twin Mercury 300R or 450R outboards and a standard 410 gal. (1864 l) fuel tank, it has a 600-mile (966 km) offshore range.

The Jaguar 37OS has a draft of only 17"(0.4 m),  enabling access to skinny water off-limits to a deep-V hull. When the bite gets hot, the 11' 2" (3.4 m) beam creates plenty of space to move around. Gear storage includes over 30 rod holders, expansive sub-deck dry spaces and an integrated tackle station.

Standard features include dual 200 gal. (757 l) insulated in-floor fish boxes and two 50 gal. (189 l) livewells serviced by a triple pump integrated sea-chest; the combination makes it easy to keep bait healthy. The massive coffin box can be used for storage or as an additional fish box.

When the fishing action is over, the Jaguar 37OS makes the ideal family boat, says the builder. Triple helm bench seats with bolsters, a rear-facing cooler seat and a forward lounger provide plenty of space for relaxing. The center console head has a generous 5' 8" (1.7 m) of headroom and can be equipped with a full head unit.

Like all Jaguar Powerboats, the 37OS is semi-custom. From the propulsion package to the cup holders, the list of optional features allows owners to create a boat that matches both their fishing style and unique personality.

The Jaguar 37OS starts at $485,000.
