Fleming Yachts has a new flagship for its fleet of long-range cruisers. The Fleming 85 is available in an open or enclosed flying bridge. The manufacturer calls her the “ultimate cruising yacht with true ocean-crossing range.” This is not standard boat builder hype. The fact is that the Fleming team is dedicated to making the world’s best cruising trawlers.  That’s why Tony Fleming started the brand years ago and its current management still embraces that vision. But that’s the rub.  Fleming has limited capacity and will not step-up production and risk stepping down fit-and-finish. Anyone who appreciates the sophistication of the Fleming line will want to see this video, and dream. Those with the bucks should not wait to get their order in as Fleming move-up prospects abound.
