BoattestLEASING Makes

New Boats Affordable

fractional-1.jpg

Celebrating making the boating lifestyle affordable.

Today, BoatTEST is announcing a new division – BoattestLEASING. We are starting this new division because in consumer surveys, 43% of our Members asked for a leasing alternative to new boat buying – just as they have with automobiles.

What makes affordable boat leasing possible is the fact that the average American boat is used only 25 days a year, according to NMMA statistics. That means on average, boats sit idle for 340 days a year. And, it is that little detail that we all know is true that makes the BoattestLEASING program able to offer low-cost leases in premium new boats. Now, people who thought a new boat was too expensive for them to afford can enjoy the boating lifestyle for a fraction of a new boat price. Consumers who were planning on buying a used boat can afford a new, top-quality, and perhaps larger boat. Here are the major advantages of BoattestLEASING’s 48-month leasing program--

1. High-Quality, Prestigious Boat

2. Fully-Equipped with Amenities

3. Lower Down Payment

4. Lower Monthly Payments

5. Monthly Payments Cover Slips, Insurance & Maintenance

6. No Maintenance Hassle

7. No Depreciation Loss

8. BoattestLEASING Boat Management

9. Full Day Usage

10. 5-Star Marina/Ideal Location

BoattestLEASING's program takes the stress and financial worry out of boat ownership and leaves in the fun and enjoyment. And after 48 months, move on without worrying about selling the boat. To find out more about the program, click here...

Just Like Car Leasing

w/2 Big Differences

fractional-2.jpg

Luxury cars are made affordable with leases, so why not boats, too?

Today, 31% of the automobiles on American highways are leased. Not surprisingly, 70% of the increase in the sales of expensive, high-quality automobiles is through car leasing. Leasing has put luxurious automobiles within the grasp of millions of Americans each year who would otherwise have to buy a used car, a mediocre brand, or a smaller vehicle.

BoattestLEASING uses the successful auto leasing model with two important changes to make the system work for boats:

1. Low Boat Usage. Since the average boat is used only 25 days per year, after reserving 50 days for maintenance, nearly 300 days a year are available for leasing on most boats. That means numerous leases can be sold and purchased on the same boat, thus fractionalizing the cost of the lease and the annual expenses that go with all boats.

2. Boat Management. Once an automobile is leased, Leaseholders are on their own for insurance, parking, maintenance and non-warranty repair. BoattestLEASING takes responsibility for all of that hassle, bundles the expense and then divides it over the Leaseholders, driving the cost to a fraction of what it would be otherwise. Making New Boat-Buying Affordable

fractional-3.jpg

Grady-White Canyon 306

There is nothing quite like the pride of owning a premium new boat. Trouble is that in the last 20 years, new boat sales have declined from 30% to 80% of what they used to be in most fiberglass boat categories. Further, virtually all boats have become more expensive for a variety of reasons, and there is little likelihood that anything will change.

BoattestLEASING's program harnesses leasing income and passes it through to the owners of new boats. Leaseholders’ down payments help boat buyers with their down payments. And, Lessee monthly payments flow through to the boat owner to help cover an owner’s monthly boat loan. The result is that at the end of a 48-month lease term, a substantial amount of the boat has been paid for by people using a boat that would otherwise have been idle. This income will go a long way to mitigating the depreciation loss inherent in any new boat. Owners, of course, can carve out any number of boating days they want, and lease out what they don’t plan on using.

The program creates a classic symbiotic relationship between a host (the boat owner, Lessor), and the guests (the Lessees). The host offers the hospitality of his boat, and the guests pay him for their enjoyment of it. Both parties thrive on the mutually beneficial relationship that BoattestLEASING facilitates and manages. The boat owner (Lessor) is able to have a boat that he might not otherwise be able to afford, and the Lessee has guaranteed use of a premium boat at a fraction of what a new boat would cost.
