The high-resolution image gives anglers a clearer view of what’s going on beneath the boat.

Lowrance has launched a new high-resolution Active Target Live Sonar system. It reveals live-action views of fish moving and around structures as they respond to lures or live bait. The new technology delivers live sonar functionality to the Lowrance HDS LIVE Ultimate Fishing System as well as HDS Carbon and Lowrance’s new Elite FS displays. This lets ActiveTarget Live Sonar connect with a wider range of displays.

Three Modes

ActiveTarget can be set to three viewing options, Forward, Down or Scout. Forward and Down view let anglers track fish in front of or below the live sonar transducer. Scout mode provides a wider overhead view of structure and fish activity in front of the transducer, which is good for finding bait balls and large schools of fish.

The ActiveTarget Live Sonar includes a black box module and transducer.

The technology complements Lowrance’s Active Imaging 3-in-1 sonar and that includes high-resolution SideScan and DownScan Imaging views for finding structure and the target separation of the CHIRP sonar. ActiveTarget Live Sonar comes with a black box module and transducer for $1,499.99.
