MasterCraft NXT22:
Max Ballast Makes Higher Wake
The MasterCraft NXT22 has a sophisticated three-part ballast system to sink the hull deep in order to create high, powerful wake. A fixed 400-lb. (181-kg) ballast tank forward of midships and two fillable bags up to 450 lbs. (204 kg) in the stern are standard. The optional Gen2 Surf System includes a total 2,150 lbs. (975 kg) of available ballast, tabs on both sides of the transom as well as one in the center, control and enhance the wake. We tested her powered with the optional 373-hp 6.0L Ilmor MPI V8, which put her on plane in 3.4 seconds and had more than enough muscle to turn up maximum wakes even when loaded down with full ballast tanks. The picklefork bow design adds to seating space up front as well as the bold styling. Did we say this wakeboat has pizazz? More...

Fjord 52 Open:
Deluxe European Dayboat
The Fjord 52 Open might be described as a luxury center console on steroids. Individually hand-built for the client by Hanse Yachts’ boatbuilding craftsmen in Germany, every Fjord 52 Open is a unique, customized one-off. She can carry up to 18 on an ICW partying cruise, while she sleeps four below and also has a standup head, or optionally two en suites. The raised forward sun lounge allows for standing room below. Surprisingly, she can also fit a Williams jet 285 tender into the transom garage. A dining table and open-air galley are aft, where there’s plenty of space thanks to the 15’9” (4.81 m) beam. Twin Volvo Penta IPS 800s provide speeds up to 36 knots, according to the builder. Or, she can be fitted with three Volvo Penta IPS 650s, with the center engine moved forward and connected via jackshaft. More...

Sea-Doo Fish Pro:
PWC Designed for Serious Fishing
The Sea-Doo Fish Pro is a lot more than just a PWC with a few fishing features added. She has an 11.5-inch (29 cm) extension of the aft deck that not only adds fishing and storage space, but also increases stability and load capacity. At a total length of 147" (373 cm), she provides a compact, easy-to-trailer package that will fit in any garage. Or she would also make a useful addition to the swim platform of a multi-mission yacht. She includes a Garmin ECHOMAP Plus 62cv Fish Finder with a 6-inch (15 cm) screen and in-hull transducer. On the back deck is a 13.5-gallon (51 L) LINQ cooler designed for fishing, with a recessed work surface, four rod holders, trolling slots and tackle and bait storage. The 2020 model has the 1630 cc Rotax 170-hp four-cycle, which is the most powerful naturally-aspirated engine in the Sea-Doo line. The engine has a cruise mode for low-speed trolling. More...

Cruisers Yachts 46 Cantius:
Comfortable Cruiser for Two Couples
The sleek coupe styling of the Cruisers Yachts 46 Cantius looks good, but she’s also very practical for extended cruising for two couples. Both the master and the VIP cabin have large beds, lots of deck space, and large, private heads with walk-in shower stalls. The builder has not tried to cram three cabins in, as some builders do in this LOA. This make all of the difference. If grandchildren are aboard, they will be thrilled to sleep on the settee in the salon. The large hullside windows bring natural light into the staterooms and form a styling feature of the exterior. A transom grill extends the entertainment area to the swim platform to bring the party outside. The hydraulic transom option offers a “teak beach” or a place to haul water toys. Up front, twin chaise lounges with a table between add a second al fresco area to enjoy a sundown toddy. All of this makes the 46 Cantius a practical boat for two cruising couples or a family with grandkids. More...

Ocean Alexander 118 Tri-Level Motor Yacht:
Elegance Afloat in a Marshall Design
Ocean Alexander 118 Tri-Level Motor Yacht
The elegance of the Evan K. Marshall-designed Ocean Alexander 118 Tri-Level Motor Yacht is nowhere better expressed than in the huge maindeck master at the front of the ship’s house, giving the fortunate owners sweeping views to port, starboard and ahead. Privacy is provided at the touch of a switch with electric blinds. Bookmatched woodwork on the cabinetry and marble tops hint at the premium levels of fit and finish throughout this yacht. His-and-her walk-in closets and the master bath are down the forward companionway in the photo. The bath includes a marble-lined shower, private head compartment with a bidet, his and her sinks, and a jet tub. Below decks are four more spacious en suites, while aft she can accommodate a crew of six. More...
