Two New SS Prop Sizes from Sharrow
Late last week, Sharrow Engineering announced that “Due to popular demand, four new versions of the Sharrow Propeller Model MX-1R have just been added to our online store! In addition to the 53 different options currently available, we have just added an 18.5-inch and 19.5-inch pitch to our 14.5-inch diameter series, in both right-hand and left-hand configuration.” All Sharrow props are backed by a 12-month warranty.

Manitou’s Sport Handling Package (SHP) continues to be one of the best performing pontoon designs on the water. In the triple pontoon configuration, the outer tubes have 23” (58.42 cm) diameters, while the center tube is 27” (68.58 cm) in diameter and is positioned 5 ¼” lower in the water. This creates a pivot point on which the boat leans when turning. The pontoons also have positive angle lifting strakes that run the full length both sides. On the front of the center console on the Boston Whaler 350 Outrage is one of the many examples of the dual-purpose functionality designed into the boat. The Nitro Z18 has a dry weight of 1,700 lbs. (771.11 kg). She’s rated to carry a maximum of 1,350 lbs (612.35 kg) in people and gear. At the start of a tournament, she’ll probably have a full 40-gallons (151.42 L) of fuel and that adds another 252 lbs. (114.4 kg), so basically she’s being asked to carry the equivalent of her dry weight in people, fuel and gear at speeds exceeding 60 mph when powered by a 175-hp Mercury outboard. MasterCraft Unveils New NXT24
The NXT24 is the largest boat in MasterCraft’s multi-use series of boats.
MasterCraft Boat Company introduced the NXT24 last Wednesday. The new model expands the company’s lineup to 13 boats and is the third and largest entry in the NXT series. She has seating for 16 with convertible loungers in the bow and cockpit plus 158 cubic feet (4.47 cubic meters) of storage so there’s space for everybody’s gear. More...
