Prestige 420 Fly:

A New Diesel-Powered Cruiser

prestige_420fly_030220.jpg

Prestige 420 Fly

The Prestige 420 Fly is a Garroni design combining contemporary lines that will stay in style for years. Note the large house windows, which give the feel of frameless design even though they’re well-supported inside. The optional flybridge hardtop adds sun protection over one of the largest flying bridges in class, and the forward supports swept aft follow the line of the windshield at the main helm below. Below, the en suite master stateroom amidships offers a centerline berth and port and starboard hull side windows with opening portlights. Power options include 380- or 425-horsepower Cummins diesels turning V-drives. The 425-hp option pushed her to a top speed of 31.3 knots in our tests. More...

Skiffs with Personality

caribiana_sea-skiffs_030220.jpg

Caribiana Nassau

Travel around the Caribbean and notice the distinct look of the colorful skiffs common there. A high bow, long graceful shear, lap-strake construction and wood accents recall a simpler, less stressful, pace of life often referred to as "island time." The vibrant colors and wood details evoke an uplifting sense of well-being that brings a smile. Here’s a shallow draft skiff that transports your mind and body. More...

Sea Ray SLX 310 OB:

Premium Bowrider w/Quiet Ride Technology

searay_slx310ob_030220.jpg

Sea Ray SLX 310 OB

With seating for 17, the Sea Ray SLX 310 OB has a greater carrying capacity than most large pontoon boats, but she offers the style and performance of a luxury bowrider. The helm seat swivels to face forward for running, aft for partying. Note the diamond-stitched and embroidered upholstery throughout in the photo, and the snap-in grass-cloth floor coverings. A wet bar in the cockpit is also standard, with an added grill optional. Dual 9” Simrad displays on the console are also included as is an aluminum Power-Tower with sunshade and tow point. With lots of freeboard and bow flair and a 21-degree deadrise at the transom, she’s ready to go joyriding outside the inlet or on the Great Lakes. Twin Mercury Verado 300s allow getting to the fun spots fast, with a WOT of 50.8 mph. We were also impressed with her very low noise levels, just 84 dBA at the helm at WOT, thanks to the company’s Quiet Ride technology. More...

Ocean Alexander 90R:

Revolutionary in Design, Traditional in Comforts

oceanalex_90r_030220.jpg

Ocean Alexander 90R

The elegant skylounge of the Ocean Alexander 90R allows the captain to be part of the conversation, with U-shaped seating and dinette just aft on a raised platform that gives guests a great view on all sides. Aft, the outdoor section has two lounges that wrap around tables at the stern. There’s a full wet bar with four stools, a grill, sink, and refrigerator. Triple-wide stainless-steel framed glass doors slide open to bring the outside in. The upper deck also has a day head, and access is from staircases both on the aft deck and forward in the salon. Water-tight side doors give the captain a good view of either side for docking, and a wired remote allows control from outside the command center. The huge master is on the main deck, with a VIP and two guest rooms below. Crew quarters are aft, just ahead of the signature “Beach Club” overlooking the swim platform. More...

Lux-Class High-Performance Dayboat

w/3x Mercury 400Rs

donzi_41-gt_030220.jpg

Donzi 41 GT

Mercury 380 K Plane trim tabs are standard equipment on the Donzi 41 GT, giving a hint of the capabilities of this very fast lux-class dayboat. Powered by three Mercury Verado 400R outboards turning 26” pitch Bravo 1 props, the 10,405-lb. (4,720 kg) package got on plane in 3.4 seconds. The supercharged 2.6-liter engines pushed the double-stepped hull to a top speed of 81.0 mph. Our test captain reported handling was secure, no white knuckles or bad handling habits. Though she’s obviously about getting from point A to point B very fast, she’s also equipped with a dive door for a bit of scuba diving or swimming, chaise lounges for sun worshippers and a premium stereo system. She has a compact but useful cabin including V-lounge, sink and hideaway head, with optional air conditioning. More...
