Sirena 58 Coupé

3 En-Suite Staterooms

The new Sirena 58 Coupé is the smallest of the Sirena line, but by fitting her with V-drives and giving her the company's signature plumb bow, the builder has been able to offer three en-suite staterooms. With a 17'7" (5.36 m) beam, the boat has symmetrical side decks for comfortable access to the bow for entertaining. The Cinerama-like windshield gives both the skipper and guests a spectacular view forward. The hull was designed by Germán Frers, who is much in demand these days, and her crew reported that she is comfortable offshore. More...

Suzuki Has a Powerful Repower Story

Florida is a good example of Suzuki’s focus on the outboard repower market, so little wonder that it has been focusing on the largest re-power market of all. The outboard maker has 14 repower centers throughout Florida and recently has relocated its United States headquarters to Tampa to better service its dealers and customers. Boatowners who are replacing 2-stroke engines would be wise to consider Suzuki outboards because they have gear ratios designed for fast holeshots. Suzuki VP Gus Blakely explains other advantages as well. More...

Catalina 315

Modern Sailboat w/Classic Cabin

Head belowdecks on the Catalina 315 and the extensive use of shimmering teak lends a warm, classic ambience that traditionalists will appreciate. The laminate sole is textured teak and holly and there’s lounge seating around the dinette table. Three fixed ports let in natural light while four opening ports with screens provide cross ventilation. For longer cruises, there’s a navigation station with a chart desk, VHF radio and the electrical distribution panel. More...

Sea Ray SDX 250 OB

Designed to Accommodate, Seats 14

For the SDX 250 OB, Sea Ray combined a flared topside that extends the boat’s beam farther forward with higher freeboard than we’ve seen in other deckboats. Having the bow passageway to port permits a larger compartment below that includes a head and cushioned area that’s large enough for a child to nap. Finally, the bow has fore- and aft-facing seating around a table, something that is quite unusual in this size and type of boat. More...

Grady-White Fisherman 216

Clever Solution for Stern Access

On the Fisherman 216, Grady-White came up with a clever solution to providing rear seats and still making it easy to access the aft swim platforms. The backrests for the seats swivel inboard and the seat cushions flip over and have nonskid on the underside. There’s also a four-step boarding ladder on the starboard platform for convenient entry into the water. The 216 has the same SeaV²® hull as the largest boats in the line. More...
