The 38XPC and 39MXPC Models are Based on Proven Long-Range Platforms

Turkish explorer superyacht builder Numarine has revealed five distinct interior designs for its new Classic Line, created in collaboration with five international design studios. The line initially comprises two models: the 38XPC and 39MXPC.

Key elements:

  • New 38XPC and 39MXPC models based on proven long-range platforms
  • Five international studios commissioned for interiors: Hot Lab (Italy), Ofist (Turkey), Vallicelli Design (Italy), Sturge & Toth (UK & Austria), and Carla Guilhem Design (USA)
  • Classic Line exteriors by Can Yalman, naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini
  • All five concepts work within the architecture and DNA of the Classic Line
  • Five distinct design personalities offering different emotional experiences

Numarine has partnered with the five studios under the ‘Numarine Atelier’ concept, with Can Yalman responsible for the exterior design across the Classic Line.

“Instead of treating the term ‘classic’ as nostalgic, the proportions and character of the models are elegant and enduring, whilst always retaining the functionality, comfort and explorer capabilities of a Numarine yacht,” Numarine explains.

With Numarine providing the platform, engineering and philosophy, each studio offers its own interpretation of contemporary living. Rather than creating variations of the same interior, each brings distinct cultural references, proportions, material approaches and design philosophies while working within the Classic Line’s DNA and architecture.

The choice of materials highlights each studio’s individual personality. Rather than restricting studios to a specific Numarine material palette, each was given freedom to develop its own combination of woods, stones, textiles, metals and tactile surfaces.

While palettes differ significantly – some warmer and more natural, others more architectural or contemporary – all five emphasize authentic materials, craftsmanship and finishes appropriate for extended time on board.

Numarine deliberately chose this approach to offer owners genuinely different choices, rather than superficial variations like color schemes.

Unifying Principles: Livability, Timelessness and Understated Luxury

Three fundamental principles unify the Classic Line concepts. First is livability – comfort, circulation, storage, functionality and indoor-outdoor relationships are paramount. Second is timelessness – all five interiors offer personality with enduring appeal not driven by short-lived trends. Third is an understated quality, with luxury created through innovative space utilization, proportion, materials, light, craftsmanship and the guest experience during extended stays.

Numarine has also developed a wellness option for Classic Line bathrooms, combining thoughtful technologies and natural elements to support physical and mental wellbeing throughout the journey.

Can Yalman, exterior designer for the Classic Line, comments: “For us, explorer capability is not a styling exercise. It is about how and where you can use the yacht. The Classic Line retains the qualities that are fundamental to Numarine: autonomy, comfort for extended cruising, generous volumes, practical spaces and a strong connection with the sea.

“Through five very different design languages expressed through the ‘Numarine Atelier’, we can demonstrate that an explorer yacht does not have to prescribe a particular lifestyle or aesthetic. You can have genuine explorer capability combined with a very sophisticated, contemporary or residential environment. For us, this is an important evolution of the explorer concept: the freedom to go further, without compromising how you want to live when you get there.”

Patrik von Sydow, CEO at Numarine, remarked: “The initial response to this Classic Line has been very encouraging, particularly because the Classic Line introduces Numarine to owners who may appreciate our philosophy and capabilities but are looking for a different aesthetic expression.

“We believe the five-interior concept of the ‘Numarine Atelier’ will strengthen that proposition considerably,” adds von Sydow. “It allows potential owners to see how differently the same platform can be interpreted and makes the yacht much more personal from the very beginning of the ownership journey.

“We believe this will make the Classic Line relevant to a broader range of tastes and markets while keeping a clear Numarine identity at its core. We are broadening the definition of what a Numarine can be and are so excited for the industry’s reaction this show season.”

At the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, Numarine will exhibit its 27XP model and hold its annual press conference with a full update on the brand’s activities and models.
