Chaparral 280 OSX:

Luxury Bowrider w/Convertible Seating

chaparral-280osx-071320.png

The 280 OSX’s twin helm seats swivel to enhance the cockpit’s social utility.

On the Chaparral 280 OSX, there are two bucket seats side by side at the helm. A companion can join the captain to provide another set of eyes during a long cruise or when running on a crowded waterway on a Saturday afternoon. When the boat arrives at her destination, the seats can be swiveled so the duo can join the cockpit conversation. There’s an inviting layout in the bow as well and the head compartment next to the helm can comfortably accommodate an adult. More...

Super Sleek Express Yacht Sleeps Six

Schaefer Yachts 510 Sport

Schaefer Yachts’ 510 Sport is a sleek express yacht with a layout that works equally well for day boating or longer cruises. Because she’s customizable, Schaefer can tailor the boat to an owner’s wants and needs. For example, our test boat was equipped with an optional hydraulic swim platform that should serve watersports well and she had a transom grilling station. For entertaining, it’s an easy transition from the cockpit to the salon. Belowdecks, the three staterooms have en suite heads with separate showers, something rarely seen on a boat this size. Sailfish 270CC:

Multitasking Center Console

sailfish-270cc-071320.png

Sailfish 270CC has a deep cockpit thanks to her high freeboard.

Like many center consoles, the Sailfish 270CC is designed to please anglers and still be a capable cruiser or even a watersports towing platform. She comes with two large fishboxes, twin livewells and a bait prep and tackle center for angling. For the family, she has a private head compartment with a sink and mirror, bow seating with backrests, high gunwales and other amenities. The company’s VDS bottom is designed to run well on twin 4-cylinder outboards. We tested the boat with twin 150 Yamahas, and she had a WOT speed of over 46 mph. More...

Ocean Alexander 118 Tri-Level Motoryacht

The Ocean Alexander 118 Tri-Level Motor Yacht has the living and entertaining space of a much larger yacht because of her four-deck design, and 24’6” (7.47 m) beam. By having a large sky lounge with the helm forward, the wasted space on two decks of a pilothouse design is eliminated. Pulling the boat deck all the way back to the transom adds more usable deck square footage for all sorts of activities and allows the aft deck to be enclosed with isinglass for 3-season use. For entertaining, the sky lounge has sheltered and open areas including a covered bar and settee. Above, the observation deck has a jacuzzi and a private space for relaxing and enjoying the views in privacy. She can sleep up to 10 guests plus six crew members, and the master is on the main deck. Yamaha VX Deluxe:

Properly Dialed-In PWC

yamaha-vxdeluxe-071320.png

Yamaha VX Deluxe

The Yamaha VX Deluxe is a well-equipped personal watercraft designed to carry up to three passengers. She’s well equipped with Yamaha’s RiDE Technology that includes reverse and braking as well as the company’s Cruise Assist/No Wake buttons. But simply put, what makes this watercraft attractive to new riders is her handling. In a word, she’s fun. Crank over the handlebars and the VX Deluxe carves a clean, sweeping arc and the acceleration is set just right. It’s a hoot to blast off, but it’s not so sudden that the rider is thrown off.
