The Outer Reef 700 is a long-range cruising motoryacht and that means long stints for the captain at the helm. The folks at Outer Reef are experts at designing helm stations that are designed for comfortable management when doing long-range work. The upper station has two 17” (.43 m) displays with wind and depth displays to either side. The engine panels and gauges are in good sightlines. Fairline offers its 32’9” (9.99 m) F//Line 33 with a choice of twin sterndrive engines or a pair of outboards. Regardless of which one an owner selects, the boat will have a spacious swim platform from which to launch watersports. The sterndrive version has an optional trunk lid that closes off the area, while the outboard platform can be set in one of three positions. Our test boat had an estimated weight of 5,512 lbs. (2,500.20 kg) and planed in 4.04 seconds and hit 20 mph in 6.9 seconds, all while exhibiting minimal bow rise – and had a top speed of 52 mph.
