Quick Thrusters Now Compatible with Mercury Joystick Piloting System

New partnership marks significant step forward in boat maneuverability and control

QNE thrusters are designed to integrate seamlessly with Mercury’s single-engine and multi-engine joystick piloting systems.

Italy’s Quick Group announced a new strategic partnership with Mercury Marine at the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) last week.

Effective immediately, Quick Nautical Equipment (QNE) thrusters are now officially compatible with the Mercury joystick piloting system. The partnership marks a significant step forward in enhancing boat maneuverability and control. By integrating QNE’s advanced bow thrusters with Mercury’s joystick piloting system, boaters will experience even greater precision, responsiveness, and ease of handling, Quick says.

Quick Nautical Equipment offers a comprehensive selection of compatible thrusters designed to integrate seamlessly with Mercury’s single-engine and multi-engine joystick piloting systems. The company has specifically developed a gateway that enables seamless integration between its Proportional Control Systems (PCS) and Mercury’s protocols, allowing control of QNE thrusters through Mercury’s maneuvering joysticks.

This system can also be retrofitted onto existing QNE installations, provided that the PCS is already in place or that it will be installed.

”This integration improves precision and control during low-speed manoeuvres, providing customers with a superior boating experience,” Quick says.
