Sea Ray, a brand of Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC), is excited to announce the launch of its all-new SDX 230 lineup, featuring the SDX 230, SDX 230 Outboard, and SDX 230 Surf. This next-generation series is designed for today's boater, combining Sea Ray's hallmark design with cutting-edge technology and premium amenities on a highly trailerable 23-foot platform. The lineup delivers on the promise of versatility and ease of use, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of water activities, from leisurely cruises to high-energy watersports.

A standout in the series is the SDX 230 Surf, which sets a new standard for 23-foot surf boats. It features Sea Ray’s revolutionary NextWave™ surf system, a fully integrated wakesurfing system engineered to produce consistent, rideable wakes for riders of all skill levels. The system includes over 1,000 lbs. of ballast, electric surf tabs, and Active Trim for powerful, customizable waves. This is all powered by Mercury Smart Tow® with an exclusive Sea Ray surf interface and three activity-specific presets. The dual Simrad® 9” NSX® touchscreen displays (standard on the Surf) give you effortless control and visualization of all the boat's functions.

Each SDX 230 model is meticulously crafted for all-day comfort, flexibility, and performance. The design prioritizes spaciousness and convenience, starting with a wide-open cockpit layout featuring plush L-shaped seating. A starboard compartment can be upgraded to a head, ensuring uninterrupted fun on the water. The spacious bow includes U-shaped lounge seating and an integrated cooler, with an optional filler cushion for extra comfort. At the stern, the convertible transom sunpad with a folding backrest offers a seamless transition to the water, complemented by a broad swim platform and a standard ski tow eye.

The SDX 230 lineup offers a variety of engine options to suit your needs:

  • SDX 230: 250-hp Mercury® MerCruiser® 4.5L MPI ECT with Bravo Three® drive
  • SDX 230 Outboard: 200-hp Mercury® FourStroke
  • SDX 230 Surf: 350-hp MerCruiser® 6.2L MPI ECT with forward-facing Bravo Four S® drive

All models are equipped with advanced technology for a superior boating experience. Key features include SmartCraft® Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS), a 9” Simrad® touchscreen (dual screens standard on the Surf), SmartCraft Connect, Active Trim, and a premium Fusion® audio system. For enhanced personalization, customers can choose from several optional bundles, including the Entertainment Bundle, Comfort Bundle, and the Highline Appearance Package (Surf only).
